This week we study Kant\’s Deontology. After you review the Categorical Imperative second formulation: \”Always treat other people and ends in themselves and never as means to a different end,\” reflect here on whether teacher and students actually treat each other as means to get what they want (salary or degree), and how it would be if both teacher, and student, would act out of Kant\’s maxim so that they treat as ends in themselves.
